If I book a place at Convention, but later find out I am unable to attend, can someone take my place?
Yes.
The value of your booking will be transferred to the person taking your place. Please note that any resulting changes in the due delegate fee will have to be settled prior to the event. For example if you are an Individual Member of the IoF, and therefore receive an IoF member discount, but the person who is attending in your place is not, then the difference will have to be paid. Delegate changes should be notified by midday on Friday 3rd July 2015 or they will have to be completed on site. The request to make changes to your booking should be made in writing. Please email IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk

If I book a place to attend Convention on, for example, the Monday and Tuesday is it possible for me to change my booking so I can attend, for example the Monday and Wednesday?
Yes.
It is possible to change the days you attend Convention. The request to make changes to your booking should be made in writing by email to IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk by midday on Friday 3rd July.

If I book a place at Convention for two or three days but cannot attend one or two of the days, can someone else take my place on the days I can't attend?
It is possible to split a multi-day pass over more than one attendee if necessary, but all charges will be recalculated for the correct number of days for each attendee and billed accordingly e.g. a member three day pass may become a member one day pass and a non-member two day pass. Please note that, should charges reduce, any credit will be conducted in line with our standard terms and conditions. If possible please email IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk by midday on Friday 3rd July 2015, or please advise the registration staff on site and they will make the necessary amendments for you.

If I book a place at Convention but can only attend the morning, can I give my badge to a colleague so they can attend the afternoon sessions?
No.
For health and safety and security reasons it is prohibited for delegates to share badges. Full day charges will be levied against any parties found to be badge sharing.

I am not a member of the IoF but my organisation is; do I qualify for a discount?
No.
You can only qualify for a discount as an organisational member if you make a group booking of five or more people.

How late can I book?
Bookings can be made up until 3pm on Friday 3rd July 2015, or until places sell out, whichever is sooner.

What is the cancellation policy?
No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations received after 5th June 2015. All cancellations must be received in writing by email to IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk no later than 5pm on Friday 5th June 2015. After this time a substitute attendee can be sent as detailed above.

Will presentations from sessions be made available after the event?
Presentations will be available for a limited period from the session pages on this website, where provided by the speakers. You will receive a password to access these in your joining instructions, shortly before the event.

I registered to attend Convention, but did not make it. Can I get a refund?
No.
Our cancellation policy clearly states that cancellations received by email to IoFconvention@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk before 5th June 2015 will receive a refund or we would have enabled you to transfer the value of your booking to a colleague at any time, so that they could attend instead. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.
