Biography

Amit joined the British Heart Foundation in November 2011. Prior to this, Amit was Business Development Director at the Australian Trade Commission in London, advising multinational companies on cross-border strategy. Previously, as a consultant with PwC in London and Sydney, Amit worked with a range of clients including Vodafone, Barclays and The Henry Smith Charity.Amit was a trustee of No Smoking Day until 2011, and is a trustee of the UK Friends of the Abraham Fund Initiatives. Amit and his team at the British Heart Foundation are thrilled to be partnering with corporates ranging from Tesco to Warburtons to Santander.

Tenika is currently the Director & Principal Consultant of Level 10 Training & Consulting and has 15 years of experience in the sector. She is also an experienced CIPD qualified trainer, and fundraising educator working with a variety of infrastructure agencies to design and deliver sector skills training for fundraisers, managers, and trustees. Tenika's interest in the arts remains a strong influence on her engaging, creative, training style that is steeped in the practical application of theoretical management principles designed to address everyday fundraising issues.

After a successful career as a lawyer Brenda was bitten by the charity bug and has worked as a fundraiser for nearly twenty years, during which time she has managed teams of legacy and major gifts fundraisers in a number of charities. She understands the need to balance plans and processes (the science) with relationship building and asking (the art) and enjoys mentoring her team and encouraging them to be creative in connecting with donors.

Biography

Jenni has spent 13 years in the not-for-profit and public sector working in health, education, sport and children and young people's services. She joined Haven House in January 2013 and has increased fundraising income by 30%. Prior to this she was the Assistant Director of Fundraising & Marketing at The Scout Association. Jenni is a keen runner and mountain biker and enjoys the odd challenge event, particularly when it involves mud.

Biography

Danielle is currently Head of Public Fundraising at Breast Cancer Campaign, overseeing direct marketing, legacies, lottery fundraising, wear it pink and new product development. With a stint as Head of Merlin Fundraising Integration at Save the Children, she was previously Head of Digital & Individual Giving at Merlin. Danielle’s background is rooted in direct and digital marketing, with her fundraising career starting at the British Red Cross before moving to Save the Children for the first time. Before discovering her passion for fundraising and moving to the charity sector, Danielle worked for many years in Human Resources management.
